The developer was very active in the beginning, but nothing has happened since March (both game uptades and announcements). Though already fun, buying it now is financing its potential, not its content, that is scarse. With that said, the game's premise is the Binding of Isaac's room by room than floor by floor style, but with Nuclear Throne's twin stick controls and focus on weapons and ammo, not (primarily) abilities. Depths of Limbo already has it all, but not much to offer in any front. A few enemies, a few weapons, a few abilities, a few bosses. What got me to buy (and enjoy) it is the potential of differing from the core games it's inspired on, like the ones I mentioned before. Some rooms have sound puzzles that are simple, but nice, and the infinite ammo pistol with rare other ammo available brings a resource management to the game that I appreciate. As a game, I can't recommend it for now, but I do not regret financially supporting the potential of the developer.. Despite being Early Access this game handles EXTREMELY WELL. Controls feel amazing, the game only lags when it gets REALLY crowded and the art and music are extremely nice. The random generated worlds give this game a good amount of replayability and there is just a lot to do. I do recommend this game if you want something fresh to play. After the new update, one controller controls both players, but the other controller controls only the other one. It's annoying to say the least.. ________________ Fixed in afew hours.. Game has a lot of promise, but it no longer appears to be under development, and is very incomplete in its current state. I would not recommend buying until such a time when active development continues, if that ever happens.. Playing one match already reminds me of two games mashed up together. The Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne. This bullet hell felt amazing to play, My first run dying in the caves.Being one of the first people to get their hands on this game, It felt pretty amazing to play!Huge learning curve, but the other games have it too. With different possibilities each floor, what can you really expect?I, 100% reccommend this game for anyone interested in dodging with a little reptile who can shoot machine guns without will.:). Like the other reviews state, for an early access game it is pretty damn good, it mixes some isaac and nuclear throne mechanics together and does this pretty well.Graphics look good (Pixel <3), sound is good, controls are good and responsive and the music is good. Currently the game has 3 playable character each with their own little special trait, such as increased fire rate, 1 more hp and move speed.During the game you will unlock items that grant you some special abilities just like in isaac you will also pick up different weapons like in nuclear throne, and like in nuclear throne your weapons need ammo, run out of ammo and you will have to drop the weapon you are currently wielding and use your infinite ammo low dmg pistol. So far I have encountered 3 types of weapons energy, shell and bullet based, what those weapons are you will have to go and explore, at first the game might feel easy, but it has a learning curve.Would I recommend this game? YES! A million times YES!
